As the world struggles to re-open schools and universities, online education has become part of our everyday reality. Although there are some aspects about in-person education that don’t translate well to an online environment, a lot about online teaching are just having good pedagogical practices (eg. course organization and aligning activities with course outcomes). A useful framework proposed by Dr. Corritore (Creighton Univeristy) for thinking about online courses is in terms of three main elements:
